About us

Dionysios Kolpondinos had the initial vision, and with his wife Marika by his side created in 1979 the first holiday resort: Tsilivi Beach Hotel, which initially had 55 rooms. The hotel expanded over the years and together with continuous renovations it became the most important hotel complex in Tsilivi, the liveliest side of the island. Years later, in 2000, their three children entered the business: Theodoros, Maria and Konstantina. The three of them followed their parents’ footsteps and to this day they can count on the active support of the entire family.

In 2009, the second hotel of the Blue Collection Resorts is a reality! Palazetto Suites is the jewel on the crown of the Group, which is characterized by the distinct aura and vintage style. Many of the furniture found at the Lobby area are family heritage, traveling the guest to a different era of pureness & luxury. Palazetto Suites is an Adults Only Hotel offering, privacy and affordable luxury in its surroundings.

In 2015 Altura Hotel was added to the Group. It is located on a lovely hill in the center of Tsilivi Village, combining comfort, proximity, and value for money services.

Last but not least, Tesoro Hotel was added in 2019. It is located next to Altura Hotel offering modern design, panoramic views, ample space around the pool, ideal to those who wish to be part of the lively Tsilivi but wouldn’t mind a little peace & quiet when they choose to.

During all these years, the family progressed keeping in mind the two basic pillars & principles:

The soul of the family, Theodoros Kolpondinos, comes up with new ideas and oversees everything from architectural renewal to innovative amenities.

Maria Kolpondinos is always present for every need that arises at the reception and anything related to our guests’ satisfaction in Public Relations, …

…while Konstantina Kolpondinos specializes in the quality of services and the hotels’ Health & Safety protocols.

Their mother, Marika, oversees the housekeeping departments of all four hotels to ensure that every corner is spotlessly clean.

All these activities are assisted by the founder of the group, Dionysios, who feels proud to see his children excelling and exceeding his dream accomplishment.

The soul, the passion, and the professionalism of the family, maintain the foundations of the romance of the past, while moving forward in a modern manner and with the contemporary interventions demanded by the new era, thus offering a proud future in the hospitality business on the island of Zakynthos.
